Simply the best! By R. Ochoa From years of experience and reading these are the very best. I have gone through many brands and finally found that Sharpie makes them the best. The highlighting is bright and it doesn’t show on the other side of the page very often like many do. It releases the perfect amount of fluid. Also, I used to use the ones with caps for years until I finally used these. I don’t have to open and close it every single time I highlight, so that it wont dry. I highlight a lot and I read a lot. If you study a lot or just read a lot do yourself a favor and get these. Also, yellow is the best. It doesn’t stain the other side easily and you cant see overlapping lines and it doesn’t show how crooked your lines are like a dark one will. Just thought I’d express my love for these since I have been a loyal fan for many years.

Sharpie improved! By Nadinne Cruz Just click this highlighter to shade lines on a page, then click again to retract and protect it from going dry. Great improvement to annoyance of pulling cover off and on, because if you keep it off, it goes dry. But if you keep closing the cap, then you are doing this a zillion times per several pages.

Subpar at best By Derek S. I purchased one of these recently and used it as part of my highlighter/word search test. I started with 1 Sharpie Tank (yellow), 1 Sharpie Retractable (yellow), 1 Sharpie Accent Mini (yellow) and 1 Sharpie Accent Liquid (yellow).
My Sharpie Tank is still going strong at over 110 puzzles completed. My yellow Accent retractable died in only a couple of days at only 29 puzzles completed! I made sure to use the same brand of book to make sure paper types were consistent.
I would highly recommend using one of the Sharpie Accent tank style highlighters over this. The tip is very hard to use (doesn’t highlight smoothly), and tends to smear a lot more than a comparable Tank or Pocket Sharpie highlighter and is very narrow. Another minor complaint, the retracting mechanism is very hard to push and retract.
