 Awesome Lap Desk but.. not for larger laptops

We have several of these lap desks. My 6 year old niece uses her desk for homework, coloring and small puzzles, she loves it. She can even eat dinner on it while watching TV. My boyfriend and I use our desk for reading magazines, working on work while in front of the TV, sometimes eating dinner. We both really want to use the desks as laptop stands, but we have full sized laptops, not netbooks, the desk bends or tips over from the weight of the laptops. Still an awesome product, especially for kids.

 Weak plastic

This tray only lasted us a few days. My 2 year old put her weight on it trying to get up, it cracked. I super glued it, but only last a few more days. Very easy to break.

 Flimsy but serves the purpose

I wanted something that I could use in bed to read on my kk or play with my Fire.I chose this because I thought the side pockets would be good to store reading glasses,headphones,etc. It is adequate but extremely flimsy. I might as well use a tissue box.Not bad for the price but the least bit of pressure will bend it.Not the most attractive and not the sturdiest but the side pockets are a plus.
