Hard to find

Carbon paper is one of those “old fashioned” products that are really hard to find at office supply stores…unless you want to buy a huge quantity at each purchase. I use carbon paper for crafts, and I certainly don’t need 100 pages or more at once!
Carbon paper is reusable, often for hundreds of times, and somewhat “waxy” in nature, and works as an inexpensive and dependable method of transferring your pattern or design onto another surface, especially wood or paper. Mead is a traditional supplier of all kinds of paper office supplies, and their consistent quality is much appreciated as well.
To get the maximum usage out of your carbon paper, try to not use exactly the same spot with each use…turning the paper, etc. so that the design hits a slightly different spot each time. As time goes by and it has been used, the designs become lighter and lighter (not always a bad thing when transferring craft designs) until its too faint to be of use. Only then does the paper get tossed. Just keep the paper in a folder to prevent transferring each pressure point to whatever its stored in or near. 10 sheets is plenty for a single purchase for most consumers and crafters–you’ll get a lot of mileage out of those ten sheets too!
Graphite paper and iron on transfer paper are great, in their place, but sometimes we just need an inexpensive and dependable solution without special considerations like being water soluble or erasable. This works. It can also be seen through a thin coat of paint, which is important to crafters doing painted designs on wood–you need to see the design after the base coats are applied! It does hide under a thicker or darker coat of paint, making it a nearly ideal transfer medium for those of us who love to make painted designs on wood.

I must say that the Amazon shipping on this product kinda’ blew me away. I was expecting the long wait (as advertised) and the next thing I know I get an e-mail telling me it shipped. Great job there Amazon.
As for the carbon paper itself, well it is carbon paper and makes copies with a typewriter just fine. A single sheet seems to work several times, so long as you want a readable copy. It works.

I TRYED EVERYWHERE TO FIND CARBON PAPER. NONE OF THE LOCAL OFFICE SUPPLY STORES CARRIED IT. FOUND IT ON AMAZON.
